Mountain Sprouts Preschool in Telluride, Colorado is seeking a director/lead teacher beginning in the fall of 2010, with possible summer 2010 hours. We are looking for an applicant with a teaching certificate or BA in education and four years of teaching experience. The applicant needs to have a solid understanding of how to run student-centered curriculum. Our school is influenced by Waldorf and Montessori theories as well as a strong emphasis on connecting our students to the natural world. Experience with special needs and organizing staff are important as well. This is a full time year round salaried position. We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic individual who is ready to integrate themselves into our special community of families.
