I have a 10 month old mini australian shepherd. Ever since I got her from the breeder, it was obvious that they had never socialized her with people or other animals. She is deathly afraid of other people animals, so she fear bites. She has a barking problem as well...She would need a home without small children and other animals until she got socialized with them. She is very attached to me, but everyone else shes very leery of, and a few people she has tried to bite. Because of this, I dont want to give her back to the breeder because they made her this way, and I wouldnt put her back in that environment. Shes really a sweetheart, she is very food driven, so its easy to train her, she knows sit, stay, and shake. But I just dont have the time in my schedule for a dog like this, she needs a lot of training to get her socialized like a normal dog. I wont take her to the pound because I know that they would probably put her down. I just hope that I can find her a good home (possibly with someone who has experience with training). I really want her to not be so afraid all the time, and I want her to live a normal doggy life.
